This kit includes the parts to make a regular 2CV as well as the van. Every part except the body shell. I'd be further along but I mangled my hand with an x-acto trying to clean up a wheel.

I do love a good tamiya kit. They do such an ecclectic range of cars. The 2cv being pretty much the perfect example of that.
I've got a sauber C9 on the go, but in the Mercedes world sports car livery, (the silver one on gran turismo)
Got a Toyota ts0.20 for Christmas, so that should be fun.

Very cool, man. Color me jealous.
I considered the Zakspeed Capri while I was looking, but I figured it would be such a hassle what with all the decals.
I just wanted to see at what kind of quality I could finish a plain street car.

ive made quite a few now, including a Mclaren m8a which had about 4 decals. So the orange bodywork had to be spot on. Quite happy with how that turned out.
Don't let decals put you off though they are surprisingly easy to apply. The castrol supra has loads, but that looks awesome when done.

Well, I'm not absolutely terrible with decals. I've made a 1/12 FW14b (exceptionally poorly), a McLaren MP4-4 and a Honda RA272 so far.
I just don't want to have to futz with cutting them, placing and setting them; worrying about where I can hold the model while not disturbing them.
I just wanted a proverbial throw-around model.

ahh fair enough. yeah I am always surprised how long it takes to do the full livery. any of the bigger cars ive done, its been 3 or 4 hours.
I have the biggest issue with multi-coloured body shells, as I find it really hard to not get an edge. the TS0.20 ive just got for christmas has red and white bodywork, so that should be fun :/
